I received my massage education at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) where I graduated with honors from the 1000 hour Massage Therapy program in March of 2007. In September of 2007, I graduated with honors from the Associates of Occupational Studies Degree program and also received certificates in Prenatal Massage and Orthopedic and Sports Massage.
I was initially introduced to massage therapy when my doctor recommended massage to help with continuous headaches that I was experiencing. I learned that regular massage not only helped alleviate the headaches but also offered many benefits for relaxation and stress reduction.
Through the healing touch of massage, it is my goal to help facilitate and encourage clients in their overall wellbeing. Therapeutic massage can deeply affect a person’s health and assist them in feeling more balanced in their everyday life. It can help reduce muscular tension and fatigue, anxiety, stress, pain and discomfort while promoting relaxation and healing from within the body. Through an environment that is calm, peaceful, nurturing and relaxing it is my goal to help clients receive the benefits of massage while taking time for themselves and improving their overall quality of life.
